Upper Norwood Street resurfacing

August 26, 2010 in News

The planned resurfacing of Upper Norwood Street is back on track after a lengthy delay. Gloucestershire Highways had planned to undertake this work earlier in the year but halted the works when it was discovered that gas pipes were buried close to the surface (read more). Following discussions with the gas company the works are now planned to be carried out between 23rd – 25th September 2010. The road will be closed and a diversion put in place.  Thanks to Councillor Klara Sudbury for the update.
