LEGLAG public meeting

August 26, 2010 in News

LEGLAG are organising a public meeting on September 29th at Leckhampton School, Hall Rd, at 7.30pm. Local residents are invited to come along and hear more about LEGLAG’s ambitions for the green fields in our area. Local Councillors and MPs have also been invited to attend.

Recently, LEGLAG have been campaigning for Leckhampton’s green fields to be given a Country Park status, which would help to protect the area from inappropriate development.  You can read more and join the petition here.

More details on LEGLAG and the fight to keep Leckhampton’s fields green can be found on their web site at http://leglag.org.uk
