Leckhampton Green Land Action Group (LEGLAG) have recently launched a petition to save fields between Shurdington Rd and Church Rd from inappropriate large scale development. LEGLAG are asking Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Borough Councils to designate the area as a Country Park for the benefit of Leckhampton residents and the wider Cheltenham Community. This could include allotments, community orchards, nurseries, grazing land etc – whatever local people say would be an asset to our area.
Please click here to download the petition. If you are able to print it off and sign it and perhaps see if friends or family would also like to sign it LEGLAG would be very grateful.
Petition sheets can be returned to Cllr Klara Sudbury at 20, Brizen Lane, Cheltenham GL53 0NG who will pass them on to the LEGLAG Secretary.
